World Financial lnnovation Series 2022

 

August 16 to 17, 2022 mark the 10th edition World Financial Innovation Series (WFIS) at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Philippines.

It is being hosted by Tradepass whose flagship events include CyFrica, WFIS, ULSaudi, PhilSec, IndoSec and DCCI, and have attracted some of the world's leading government agencies to take part of the event.

WFIS 2022 - Philippines has a diverse of topics to tackle with special participation of business heads and government officials to impart their expertise.

Over 50 million unbanked Filipinos would be a great potential in the age of digitization with the launch of ‘Digital Payments Transformation Roadmap 2020-2023’ by the Central bank of the Philippines (BSP) forsees a greater fintech environment in the country.

Improving the security culture in financial sector and Establishing legal frameworks that are key to regulate the use of cyberspace by Jose Carlos Reyes Director of Cybersecurity Bureau Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

August 16 was a full day of learnings from a line up of more than 15 speakers. Borrowing a quote from Amor Maclang Executive Director and Convenor Fintech Philippine Association and Digital Pilipinas that goes "One may not be fully digital to be truly digital".

August 17, 2022 another day of full activity which started early morning with Jovelyn Hao Acting Group Head-Fintech Innovation and Research Policy Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Presenting Future Evaluating The Scope and Practicability of Modern Fintech  Innovations. 

Indeed the WFIS 2022 with diverse information from digital transformation, Fintech, Blockchain, WEB3, Cybersecurity, to fortifying Security to Counter the Evolving Cyberthreats, etc. Made the attendees well rounded with the financial innovation in the now and the future.
