Asia Leaders Awards (ALA) 2022—TAG Media Group’s flagship event—concluded its year-long nomination and selection of the Philippines’ top achievers in various industries with awarding ceremonies held at historic The Manila Hotel on November 22, 2022 with the attendance of 4 ambassadors from Belgium, New Zealand, Romania and Israel as presenters.
To date, the ALA is the largest business award-giving body in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia whose main objective is to promote the Philippines as a premier business hub and destination in Asia. In addition, to inspire us all.
“We highlighted the business leaders every year and this time, the rising tigers and nation builders who keeps on reaching also the indigents.” said Dr. Elton See Tan behind Asia’s largest award-giving body.
“For us, you cannot say you’re a success if your financials are not in place since the barometer of business success is the stability of the company. We checked all of that. Also, if you’re already helping those who cannot give back, like the marginalized, that’s also our measurement of success. It means, you have something to give. We cannot give, what we don’t have.” - Grace Bondad Nicolas
The honcho of TAG Media Group and managing director of Rising Tigers Magazine, Engineer Grace Bondad Nicolas sits on the Awards Committee alongside:
• Dr Elton See Tan of The E-Hotels,
• Tan Yu III of the Makati Tourism Foundation,
• Robert Laurel Yupangco of the Yupangco Group of Companies,
• Andrew Troy Nicolas of TAG Media Group, and
• Becky Garcia of The Manila Times.
This year’s winners include the crème de la crème of Philippine business and industry.
“We’re very choosy. We don’t like many awardees either. They must be those who are the best in their industries. They are tirelessly making a difference in their fields and continuously making the Philippines proud globally,” added Robert Laurel Yupangco
