"JENNY" MAINTAINS IT STRENGTH AS IT POSES A THREAT TO AURORA PROVINCE.
"JENNY" is forecasted to make landfall in Aurora between 9:00 PM tonight and 1:00 AM tomorrow.
Between this afternoon and tomorrow (28 August) morning, intermittent to frequent moderate to heavy rains may be experienced over Cordillera Administrative Region, Isabela, Cagayan, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and northern portion of Quezon (including Polillo Island) Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains may affect Metro Manila, Central Visayas, Western Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula and the rest of Luzon.
Between tomorrow morning and Wednesday (29 August) morning, light to moderate with intermittent to occasional heavy rains may affect Metro Manila, Western Visayas, Mindoro Provinces, northern portion of Palawan (including Calamian and Cuyo Islands), Zambales and Bataan.
Residents in the aforementioned areas, especially those living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to floods and rain-induced landslides, are advised to take precautionary measures, coordinate with local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and continue monitoring for updates, especially the Thunderstorm Advisories and Heavy Rainfall Warnings to be issued by PAGASA Regional Services Divisions.
Areas under TCWS #2 are advised to take precautionary measures against potentially strong winds while occasional gusty conditions may occur over areas under TCWS #1. Occasional gusty conditions may also occur in Visayas and other areas of Luzon due to the Southwest Monsoon.
Sea travel remains risky over the seaboards of areas under TCWS and seaboards of Batanes due to potentially rough sea conditions.

 Established in 2017 in a food park in Quezon City, Southern Grind Bistro just opened it’s first full blown restaurant last March 22, 2019 and now at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig is getting bigger with multiple restaurants now and more in a pipeline. The Chief Operations Officer and President,  Antonio “ Ton” Carmelo Tallon conceptualised the restaurant with an American southern and soulful taste with over 30 dishes and best sellers like the following;

When ask about the main branch in Taguig, Chaldford Tamares, the store supervisor is always excited since a lot of loyal patrons visited them because of the Shrimp Jambalaya. According to him, “You can also do a Press Conference here since we have a 30-40 pax capacity in the second floor area. We can serve it as buffet or ala carte in a very affordable prices.”

F.A.N. RUN-Filipino Against Narcotics



The People's Volunteer Against Illegal Drugs (PVAID) is a civil society organization that responses to the government anti-drug strategic three (3) pronged approaches to emancipate the country from the evil effects of illegal drugs and substance abuse.

PVAID started and was founded in 2016 by a group of anti-drug crusaders advocating drug awareness and capacity building. They used their own resources to uphold the real fight against illegal drugs that ruin the lives of every Filipino in all walks of life. The outcry in their heart to stop the use of illegal drugs and substance abuse had been so strong knowing the menace of these drugs and substances.

In carrying out its vision, PVAID conducts people empowerment activities through preventive education and values formation in every sector of the country in order to create awareness about the drug menace and its adverse effects to society.
These Anti-drug Crusaders are committed to promote the vision that will change the Philippines as a drug resistant and drug-free society through an empowered citizenry.

PVAID is conducting a Fun Run in partnership with Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Philippine National Police National Capital Region Police (PNP NCRPO), National Parks and Development Committee (NPDC), Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church and Lighthouse Media.



The activity is called Filipino Against Narcotics Run (F.A.N. Run) with the theme, "Sagip Kabataan Kontra Droga". The objective of the run is to help and support the anti-drug campaign of the government and to heighten social awareness about illegal drugs.

The run starts from Quirino Grandstand along Roxas Boulevard covering the distances of 3km, 5km and 10km.
