DEPART WITHOUT REGRETS
We have a culture to live life as if to survive and to hush the idea of death, to avoid this topic of discussion as if death is only considered imaginary until it so materializes. The problem with this mentality is that many could miss out on the idea that death gives meaning to life and that it gives us the opportunity to understand what life is all about.
Death is an immortal concept that co-existed with time. It symbolizes the mortality of human beings and their finite existence. In our everyday lives, we are always confronted by the thought of mortality through the different media like the murder we hear from the news, the accidents we witness along the road, the diseases that act as a time bomb, the passing away of our loved ones – death is manifested everywhere, anywhere, at any moment in time.
If death is surprising, how can we then prepare for it? The initial question we have to ask ourselves is “What if you were to die tomorrow? What would you wish you could do before you die?” This is a safe way to think about the limitation of our lives more than it is to think about our eventual demise. Thinking about the things we wish we could do before we die is like filling out the blanks that will give purpose and meaning to our lives. In completing a goal and ticking off our list of things to do one by one, we then can pass with the idea our lives meant something, that there is some record of our existence, and we can let go of life feeling more accomplished.
Bucket List Summit slated on October 19-20 at the SMX Aura, a transformative event that will change your perspective about death and how a finite life could be purposeful and meaningful despite its brevity. Sign up now and discover that life and death are just different sides of the same coin.

5th " World Pandesal Day "
The public is invited to two unique free medical missions on October 6 Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m. up to lunchtime and October 27 Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m. up to lunchtime in 80-year-old Kamuning Bakery Cafe at No. 43 Judge Jimenez Street corner K-1st Street, Barangay Kamuning Quezon City for free medical, dental and also optical missions to benefit urban poor families as part of the month-long celebration of 5th "World Pandesal Day". On the exact day of #WorldPandesalDay on October 16 Wednesday starting 8:30 a.m., Kamuning Bakery Cafe in Quezon City and its Caloocan branch below LRT 5th Avenue Station shall be giving free 70,000 pandesal breads, free Eden cheese, free Mega sardines, free Hobe and Fly Ace noodles, etc.
Despite suffering a destructive fire last year caused by a neighboring resto bar and still recovering, Kamuning Bakery Cafe continues its unique civic and cultural projects like this annual "World Pandesal Day", the non-partisan "Pandesal Forum", the annual “World Poetry Day” celebration every March 21 and others. Ever since realty entrepreneur and writer Wilson Lee Flores bought and revived it in January 2015, Kamuning Bakery Cafe has also donated four public schoolbuildings in rural areas such as in Balangiga town in Eastern Samar and Tarlac province.
Why the World Pandesal Day project? Apart from honoring the popular bread of the Philippines and a reminder on the need to help alleviate hunger in society, this civic and cultural project expresses Kamuning Bakery Café’s thanksgiving to the public and to God. It is inspired by the miracle in the Bible of a humble boy sharing his five loaves of bread and two fishes, which Jesus Christ multiplied to feed over 5,000 men, not yet counting women and children. This story is recorded in the Bible’s book of Matthew in chapter 14, verses 13 to 21; Mark 6:31-44; Luke 9:12-17; and John 6:1-14.
Here are excerpts from the message of support by President Rodrigo R. Duterte, he said: "My warmest greetings to the Kamuning Bakery Cafe as it celebrates World Pandesal Day... As you honor our history and heritage by showcasing the remarkable skills of Filipino bakers, I encourage you to create more job opportunities for our people. I also call on you to engage in corporate social responsibility and pursue initiatives that will improve the lives of your workers and our localities... I wish you a successful and joyous event."

When we fail to eat on time, get enough exercise or sleep between seven to nine hours a day, we’re compromising our health and wellness as we reduce the maximum extent that our body must function. Consequently, the effects in our body may extend and manifest as early warning signs of hair loss.
Take it from celebrity beauty and salon expert Fanny “TF” Serrano, who once personally experienced such an ordeal. For him, avoiding harsh synthetic solutions and choosing to use the right products with natural ingredients is a must and still the best way to deal with mane problems like losing or thinning of the hair.
With this in mind, embracing natural healthy lifestyle is so important to achieve optimal health, best physical condition and healthy full head of hair. Health products made out of natural ingredients are way effective for better healing and maintaining our body’s lifelong function than those of synthetic ones. Rather than investing in those branded shampoos or other hair treatments, there’s a natural way to help arrest hair loss and help remedy its four early symptoms, namely, excessive hair shedding, thinning hair, receding hair line, and bald patches. This is none other than NOVUHAIR, nature’s answer to hair loss.
Great news! Here’s a special promo exclusive at all participating Watsons stores nationwide. For every purchase of NOVUHAIR 3-in-1 pack at P5,280, you’ll get one 200ml. bottle of NOVUHAIR Herbal Shampoo worth P1,100 for FREE! That’s 21% savings! SB Corp to introduce 10 Credit Delivery Partners for P3 program
The Small Business Corporation will introduce 10 Credit Delivery Partners (CDPs) from Luzon to Mindanao to deliver fast and efficiently the Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) program to micro entrepreneurs.
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez said the 10 CDPs will make the delivery of the P3 program faster to micro entrepreneurs in rural areas to help spur economic activity in the countryside and provide employment to Filipinos.
“President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration always seeks for ways to provide service and assistance to our micro entrepreneurs in the easiest and most accessible way as possible, especially to those from the countryside,” said Sec. Lopez.
SB Corp., the micro financing arm of the Department of Trade and Industry, through the P3 program has extended financing assistance to over 89,000 micro entrepreneurs as the government's flagship program that aims to topple loan sharks has widen its reach throughout the country since its inception in 2017.
As of July 23, 2019, the SB Corp has released a total of P2.9 billion worth of loans to micro entrepreneurs through its 353 credit delivery partners that has reached rural and far-flung areas in the country.
SB Corp President and CEO Ma. Luna Cacanando welcomed the inclusion of the 10 Credit Delivery Partners, which she acknowledged would help in distributing the much-needed funds by micro entrepreneurs.
The Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) program is a P1 billion loan financing program intended to give micro enterprises better access to finance, providing them
an alternative to the informal or 5-6 scheme of lending.
Secretary Lopez reiterated that with the loan program, micro enterprises may find relief from overly expensive borrowings and afford cost-efficient and affordable form of loan that will help expand their businesses
Meanwhile, the P3 program also has reached out to Maranao entrepreneurs through the Bangon Marawi initiative and has released P7.5 million to 457 Maranao borrowers. Likewise, soldiers and policemen who were either wounded or killed in action during the Marawi siege were also provided assistance with a total of P27.71 million released to 335 soldiers and policemen, and their families.
Under the P3 Program, a micro enterprise can borrow between P5,000 up to P200,000 depending on its business need and repayment capacity with no collateral requirement. Interest rate and service fees, all in, do not exceed 2.5% monthly.
The P3 Program serves as an alternative to the P30 billion “5-6” money lending industry that charges 20% nominal interest rate to MSMEs.
