*MANILA, Philippines* — Rising Tigers Magazine, Asia's premier business and leadership magazine, held its highly anticipated *Magazine Launch & Signing Event* on *September 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM* at the *SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City*, as part of the *Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) 2026*.
With this year's MIBF theme *"Get Lit: Reading in a New Light,"* the event from September 9-13 is set to be the largest gathering of authors, leaders, and creatives. Among the highlights is the Rising Tigers signing, which celebrates Filipina excellence in business, beauty, and empowerment.
Organized by *TAG Media Group* led by *Engr. Grace Bondad Nicolas and Andrew Nicolas*, the magazine's latest "Nation Builders" edition puts the spotlight on leaders who drive impact beyond business.
Three Inspiring Personalities during the Signing
This year's signing featured three distinguished Filipina leaders who embody the magazine's mission:
1. Sarah Deloraya Mateo – President & CEO, SPD Jobs, Inc.
A trailblazing CEO in the recruitment and staffing industry, Sarah Deloraya Mateo is recognized as one of the leading women in commerce. As head of SPD Jobs, Inc., she has championed workforce development and professional empowerment. 2. Maria Charo Calalo – Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019, Entrepreneur & Recording Artist
Known as a beauty queen with a heart, Maria Charo Calalo won the crown of Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019 and used her platform for advocacy and music. She released her holiday single "Miss Kita Kung Christmas" and album "Himala'y Laganap," blending entertainment with philanthropy. As an entrepreneur and mother, she continues to inspire women to pursue purpose beyond pageantry.
3. Fatima Figueroa Alvarez – Mrs. Universe Philippines 2026
Fresh from her coronation at The Tent, Manila Hotel on June 28, 2026, the Kapampangan entrepreneur-philanthropist will represent the Philippines at the *Mrs. Universe 2026 finals in Sri Lanka this October*. An advocate for sustainable fashion through the *House of Musa* — the global brand that weaves banana fiber by artisans in Davao del Norte — Fatima champions women empowerment through entrepreneurship and community service. She will showcase her House of Musa creation during the international competition.
The three leaders joined other featured personalities for a meet-and-greet, photo opportunity, and exclusive magazine signing for readers, business leaders, and media.
