Troy: The IT Man of TAG Media Group

Andrew Troy Nicolas spent years of being an IT in Wall Street, New York City USA but decided to be at the helm of the rising Tag Media and Public Relations eventually became Tag Media Group that manages concerts, advertising, marketing, public relations and campaigns of different companies from different industries in Asia Pacific.

His expertise is Business Intelligence (BI), checking everyday the data as the basis of the actual position. BI comprises the strategies and technologies used by enterprises for the data analysis of business information. BI technologies provide historical, current, and predictive views of business operations.

As the Group CEO of Tag Media Group, he approves the launching of AAA Cosmetics and Trading Company (GlamHigh Cosmetics, Graceful Skin Essentials, Immune CEE, GlutaGlow Slimming Drinks) last November 2020. As per analysis, even during pandemic, there’s still a demand from consumers who are into weight loss, those who are always in online meetings, for health and wellness and still to beautify or improve their personal appearances since most are staying home so more focus on their physical appearance and well being. As of this writing, the company has more than 100 distributors nationwide with few already in Milan and Taiwan. Targeting at least a thousand at the end of this year, not bad business during Pandemic.

Troy as his team calls him, is the one handling the management of all IT related items and monitoring it like the social media accounts, multiple websites under the company and even some of the content. He is making sure that all has a positive impact in the lives of the clients and followers.

The signature events under Tag Media and Public Relations (Asia Digital Marketing Expo, Asia HR Expo, Asia E Commerce Expo, Dwelo, Asia’s Best Singing Competition)  might be in halt because of this global health crisis but Asia Leaders Forums and Awards (ALA) are still thriving with the support of its stakeholders and organising committee. Announcement of honourees will be this May 20, 2021 and awarding ceremony will be on November 11, 2021 at Embassy of Singapore.

According to Troy, “It’s all about big data and actual projections. We will also continue our AG Builders and Developers, the construction company under Tag Media Group. We’re hiring right now since clients, even afraid of this pandemic still likes to secure their family with a home as their legacy. The brands under AAA Cosmetics are still new but there’s a lot of inquiries. The events are still here even online as we wanted to still be relevant and the followers we have likes to learn more and to see what’s new so we have Cocktail Hour under Asia Leaders Awards, the show with the honourees of ALA to present their lighter side of success. We’re not stopping and keeps on innovating.”

Genuine Leaders Shining through In Times of Crisis

Who would have thought we will be a part of this global health crisis, a modern day pandemic which caught as unaware.

Lots of industries are struggling due to the closing down and mandates of the national government, a business crisis that we didn’t predict. What governments, corporations, hospitals, schools, and other organizations need now, more than ever, are “real leaders”people who in spite of their own challenges are exerting effort to help us overcome the limitations, weakness and fear and get us to do better, harder things than we can get ourselves to do on our own. These are the leaders with a heart of gold, maybe part of their genes or forged to do better even in Pandemic. Leaders who acted in the face of great uncertainty, real danger, and collective fear.

Here are some leaders; individuals or corporations that magnifies more their ability in this crisis we are all facing while others shone away. •Ernesto Tanmantiong is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), one of the world’s largest and fastest growing Asian food service companies with over 4,500 stores in 21 countries.   JFC has 8 wholly-owned brands (Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, and Mang Inasal in the Philippines; Yonghe King and Hong Zhuang Yuan in China; and Smashburger in the USA),  2 franchised brands (Burger King in the Philippines and Dunkin’ Donuts in select territories in China), and a 60% ownership in the SuperFoods Group that owns the Highlands Coffee and PHO24 brands. •RS Francisco of Frontrow Enterprise and the President of this empire with more than 1.2 million distributors worldwide. Even in pandemic they are very visible to various organisations and spent more than Php 100 Million on donations plus the implementation of E Eskwela in different barangays nationwide to help the indigent students for the free use of computers that’s located inside the government facilities. •Mayor Francisco “Isko” Domagoso, is the boy wonder of Manila. As a young age from the streets, he is already an accomplished public servant and love by his constituents. His drive, grit and will power made him so much love by his constituents especially his devotion to help his communities in times of this health crisis. •Andrew Troy Nicolas is the Group Chairman of Tag Media Group (AAA Cosmetics and Trading Company, Tag Media and Public Relations and AG Builders and Developers). He just launched a cosmetic and health & wellness line last November 2020 even in Pandemic with 9 products right away. As of now, there’s already more than 100 distributors nationwide. His signature event, Asia Leaders Awards is the most successful event with Ambassadors and Senior leaders in the awards committee. •Ronald Mascariรฑas is the President of Bounty Fresh Agro Ventures and in spite of this business lowdown to others, the company launched another brand HeiHei. An award winning entrepreneur who just recently receive an “Man of the Year” at Asia Leaders Award for his contribution to reach out the indigents and Frontliners during this Pandemic. •Robert Laurel Yupangco is the CEO of Zoomanity Group and President of Yupangco Group of Companies. Everyday even the start of this 2019 health crisis, he attended all office meetings just to make sure that his organisation will always have something at home. 36 businesses under his belt that includes 5 Theme Parks; Zoobic Safari (Subic), Zoocobia (Pampanga), Paradizoo (Cavite), Residence Inn Zoori (Tagaytay) and Zoocolate Thrills (Bohol). •Manjinder James Kumar, Filipino Indian Commerce and Welfare Society Inc. (FICWSI) Founder & President. DOST-ITDI to pivot backend innovation through its webcast @ Innohub sa Pinas

The Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI), in its bid to contribute to industrialization and progress through R&D initiatives, will conduct a webcast for its newly opened Modular Multi-Industry Innovation Center (MMIC) or InnoHub sa Pinas on March 31, 2021.

Following MMIC’s successful launch in December 2020 and inauguration in February 2021, ITDI once again invites industry partners and stakeholders to share their insights and expectations about the new facility.

InnoHub sa Pinas is an industrial processing facility with multifunctional/multi-application modular unit operation equipment that can be retrofitted to accommodate different manufacturing lines. It is built to serve the needs of the food, personal care, and pharma-nutraceutical industries using its three main processing lines for nut/seed and oils, mix blend powders, and liquids/emulsions which rely mainly on by-products of commercial operations as raw material. In effect, new or novel products are made out of processing wastes through backend innovation.

Further, InnoHub sa Pinas is open to academe and other interested stakeholders for use in research and development of new products, product equivalent, product variances and product reintroduction.

As one of DOST’s big 20 tickets for 2020, the facility is set to become a one-stop-shop for product conceptualization, development, and marketing, thus collaboration with significant industry and other users is important to sustain efficient services.

It expects that with InnoHub sa Pinas’ modern equipment and devices, as well as experts to lead the operation, previous deficiencies that may hinder advancement in STI will be reduced.
